Overview

Your plant uses finerbutcher.com to provide an easy,  efficient and unique way to schedule your animals for processing.  It is a secure website that gives you the ability to connect with the plant anytime and anywhere you have an internet connection.

Like most websites where you can purchase or schedule services online,  finerbutcher.com  

  • Has an Account setup or activation
  • A screen to "login" to your account
  • Screen(s) to select your choices
  • A unique  ORDER#  at the end of the process

An account is made up of 3 required pieces of information:

  1. Your account name (either a Company or Individual)
  2. Your email address (also known as your login)
  3. A password

So if this sounds  OK (and we realize it is a new concept for the industry) please proceed.

What happens now ?

Remember the 3 things needed to proceed ?  (name, email and password)

Depending on a few factors,  you fit into one of these:

  1. Your Account name AND email AND password are already setup,  and you are ready to place or check your Orders.
  2. Account name is the system,  but your email and password are not filled in.
  3. Account name is NOT in the system and you will create a New Account.  
  4. Account name AND email are already setup,  but you need or forgot your password. Take me there

 

Hang on,  you are 3 steps, a few  clicks and a little typing from placing your Order.  Remember,  you only do this one time.

Since an email address is required,  you tell us that first and go from there.

Tell us your email

Look for your name

Searching for your Account name is done by typing a few letters of ANY part of your name.  

After 3 characters you will either see matches (or not).  The more you type,  the less matches appear.

If you see a match,   the system will verify your email,  assign a password,  update your Account and log you in.

If there is no match,  then you tell us your Name,  Email and Password.

You are LOGGED IN !!

Create an Order

This is the screen you will use to create an online Order.

The basic steps are:

  • Pick a date from the calendar
  • Tell us when you want to drop off
  • How many animals and what breed
  • How would you like us to process your animals
  • How do you want your product packaged

Find & Pick a Date

The calendar show you the days your plant harvests using an icon of the animal.    Here are some tips:

  • You can Cancel now and come back later,  nothing has been saved.
  • Click the Left/Right arrows to move to the Previous/Next  Month
  • Click the pink Year to see a list of months
  • If the day you want has NO icon,  you should schedule on the next available day to hold a spot.  You can always call the plant and ask for help.
Flock size and type
What do you want done with your flock ?

This screen lets you distribute your flock for processing.    It looks busy,  but you only do the following:

  • Type (or click checkbox) to put a Qty in a process.
  • Select the packaging (if it is there)
  • Save when all of your flock has been used up
Adding/Changing your Selections

If you chose to have some of your flock Separated and Cut Up,  you then have to tell us how to process each part of the bird.

So you will see a panel for Breasts,   Drums  etc.

If you choose to Grind or Debone any parts,  you will also be able to select Sausage !
