Deer Drop Off

The process for dropping off Deer/Wild Game differs than live animals in several ways:

  • You could have several times more Customers bringing their kill to be processed.  
  • Drop off may be allowed every day and even after regular hours.
  • You will be handling boxed meat and carcasses.
  • Orders, Tags and Cut sheet will be created on the spot instead of in advance.
  • You may need to take a deposit from the Customer.
  • You will print a Check In Sheet ( 2 Copies).  One that gets signed and one for the Customer to keep.
  • You may also print labels to put on the boxes (and any whole deer).
  • The weight of any boxes will recorded and entered in the system.

 

Steps for Deer/Wild Game

The steps for checking in Deer are as follows:

  1. Create a New Deer Order.    
  2. Select the Items from the Cut Sheet    
  3. Print a Check In Sheet  (see below)
  4. Enter a Deposit  
  5. Enter the Box Weights (if any)  

 

Print Check In Sheet (Cut Sheet)

The Check In Sheet prints out the Customer info,  how many Whole Deer and Boxed Deer,  what Items they selected , the weight and location of any boxes etc..

It can be printed from 2 places:

  1. The Tag list
  2. The Cut Sheet screen

Print Check In Sheet (Tag List)

  1. Navigate to the Tag List
  2. Find the Tag
  3. Click dropdown at end of row
  4. Click printer +  Checkmark
