Taking Charge of Tags

Before using software you probably had to write the same information several times:

  • On your Order form
  • On a ledger so you have a list
  • On a calendar so you have a schedule

Not any more.   Once the Deer Order is entered,  Tags are made and Items selected,  that data can be used to do everything else.  It can be printed onto forms,  displayed on a calendar,  listed on the screen (or paper),  searched,  filtered and changed with ease.

The Tag List

Just like your paper ledger,   we have a Tag list.   It gives you a look at all the "open"  Tags.    Any one can see it and manipulate it as they need,  like having multiple copies of your old ledger.

When using the system to handle live animals,  the Order list helps you stay on top of "scheduled"  drop offs,  kill and cut days.  When the animals are dropped off for slaughter,  you make Tags.

Not so with Deer season.   They come to your plant ready to be Tagged.  So the Order and Make Tags steps are done at the same time.

When you first see the Tag List it has a lot of information.   You will quickly learn how to use it to not only display what you need,  butgain access to several other screens of related data.
