Deer/Wild Game Order

A special screen has been created for Wild Game since you will not be slaughtering a live animal.    It really streamlines the procedure as it

  • Creates a full Customer name, address etc.
  • Creates an Order
  • Creates Tags  (2 different series #'s)
  • Creates Storage rows for the Deer and Boxes
  • Groups all Tags together for single Cut sheet
  • Prints Labels for the Deer and the Boxes

Additional Info for New Deer Order

Here is some additional reference information.

An example of a Group Tag,  with one Regular and  3 Box Tags.  If there are any regular Tags,  one of them will always be the "group leader".

When you are creating the Deer Order,  one of two things happens regarding the Customer:

  1. You locate an existing Customer by typing a few characters of their name,  address or phone numbers.

NOTE:  If you type a few characters and the panel appears to Add a customer,  and you want to try searching,  just click back into the Customer field and start over.   The panel will hide and wait for your new search.

  1. You have to add a new Customer because Step 1 did not show any matches.

Either way a panel will appear allowing you to Update (#1)  or Save(#2)  the Customer information.

#1 Customer was found

#2 Customer not found

Continue to Cut Sheet

As soon as you save the Order,  the system will create Tags and give you the ability to:

  • Print Labels  and then
  • Go to either the Cut Sheet  OR the Tag List.

The next article will show you how to select the Items on the Cut sheet.
