How do I change an Order ?
Since an Order can have multiple species and multiple animals, changing an Order happens on two different levels.
- Order Level
- Species/Animal Level
Order Level
On the Order level, you can make changes that affect ALL the animals, like:
- Drop date
- Kill date
- Confirmation
- Cancel Order (usually requested by Producer)
- Delete Order (usually due to duplicate)
To make changes to an Order follow these steps:
- Navigate Orders >Open Orders.
- Search for the Order.
- Click on any of the colored (orange or blue) columns.
- Make your changes on the edit panel.
- Click save.
Species/Animal Level Changes
When you created the Order, you entered the number of Animals. The system creates a row for each animal so when the time comes it can make Tag numbers.
Until then, you can changes several things about each animal, such as :
- Delete
- Ear Tag
- Sex
- Breed
- Items (Cut Sheet)
- Grind entire animal
- Pickup Date
- Cut Date & Hang Time
- Label - Private or Generic
- Primal Tag
- Cut Sheet Received Date
- Add/Change who is Paying and/or Picking Up the animal
NOTE: If there are multiple animals in a Species, you will able asked if you want all of them to have the new change. For example, if you change an animal to "Private", you can say the others should also be "Private", instead of changing each one.
Animal List
To see and change the animals on an Order, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Orders > Open
- Find the Order using List or Column search
- Click the "Eye" icon at the end of the row
Below is the list of Animals on the Order.
On this screen you can :
- Delete an Animal
- Print the Order
- Add more Animals or Species
- Print the Cutters Sheet
- Add/Change Items & Options
- Add/Change who is Paying and/or Picking Up
- Edit the Animal information (Sex, Breed, Ear Tag, Label etc. )
NOTE: If you process Poultry, the heading of this screen may have something like
Animals (45) Tags (1) Printed Tags (3)
