Staging

Would you like the ability to enter all the information BEFORE a Producer drops off  ?  How about the Producer being able to do that themselves ?

We call is Staging and here is what it can do:

  • Split the animal (half, quarter, shared etc)
  • Enter the third party customer who gets the animal (or portion)
  • Match the animals to that customer by either weight or ID
  • Enter the Cutting instructions
  • Print a complete report of the Staging.

Animal Panel

Each Animal has a "panel".   For Beef and Hogs,  the panel actually represents a Left and Right side, as these animals can be split.   Lamb, Goat, Sheep and other animals are typically NOT split.

You can Split,  assign a Customer and enter/select Cuts.

Matching

Matching refers to "who gets which animal".   There are 2 ways to Match :

  1. By Weight  (Heaviest to Lightest )  
  2. By ID (Ear Tag, Sex, Breed,  Grade)
